Over the last few months, I have undergone a beautiful journey of self discovery. This journey taught me the true nature of life and the beauty that lies within ambiguity. I have found how we all are connected by the divine source and how every step of the process leads to bigger and brighter success. 

 

As a new grad, beginning her career in finance, I have seen a variety of different experiences in the workplace. Over the last year, I started to feel like I needed to explore outside of my current climate. I needed to go beyond my comfort zone and seek my true passion and the industry that needs me. The anticipation for me to seek what the world has to offer but the internal pressure to stay stagnant kept colliding. I felt stuck. There came a time when I separated from my current career space and finally  broke free. While this was a time of ambiguity and constant self doubt, through strong mentorship, I was able to be set on the right path. 

 

When I was battling this ambiguity, not knowing if I was doing the right thing, or what I really wanted, I experienced divine intervention. I found my messenger in the form of my mentor, Cleo. As my coworker, I had stumbled upon her and instantly connected. At this point in my life, I didn’t know she would be the one to open my eyes and teach me the importance of self. The only way I would be able to cross this ambiguity and reach my destination was through self knowledge. I needed to know my strengths and what it was I was looking for. I learned the value of connecting with myself and my spirit. I learned to accept the excitement within ambiguity to find my place. Initially, I felt so much doubt with where my career was.

Although, I knew my worth and was confident in my skills, I wanted to be certain that the next place I go, I would be strong and feel the passion my heart is yearning for. I always believed that success came from passion, combined with hard work. If one is missing, the result will never appear. To reach this destination, I worked with my mentor to embark on this journey of understanding myself. I felt more confident to put myself in unknown situations and really explore the world outside of the small space that I have experienced. I was able to be successful in my journey due to this self knowledge I developed.

 

With this knowledge, I refined my confidence. I knew my strengths, I realized what I looked for in the industry I would work in, and furthermore, I knew to never settle or give up. This journey Cleo mentored me through taught me how if I believe I can, I will. Indeed, I did. I landed an offer at a dream company in my dream industry in a promoted position. I found a place where my strengths could shine and I was needed to make a difference. I saw the value of self that is connected to everything we want to achieve. This journey just began here. I will use these lessons in every step to come. I know this is just the beginning and there is so much more to see. I always remember my mentor Cleo as my divine messenger. She connected me with my soul and the divine power to see light and do everything heart-fully. I am so excited to start this journey and share the beauty of it to everyone.
